Coast to Coast

                                                                  Coast to Coast

The past two weeks I have been traveling around our fabulous country.  I started off on the the west coast, then visited the midwest, then made my way to the east coast. I spent time in the following states and cities. I flew to Minneapolis, drove to Wisconsin, drove to Illinois, and then flew to New York. Here are the cities I went to: The Twin cities, Eau Claire, Afton, Milwaukee, Green Bay, Chicago and Tarrytown.  After the trip my family and I flew back to California.

I even went to some of the oldest and most famous ballparks in the world! I went to Lambeau field, and Wrigley field. I even passed by Citi Field and Yankee stadium! Here are some wonderful photos taken during our trip.

Here is a picture of me, and my brothers. We are standing under the Green Bay Packers logo.

Here is a picture taken inside of the Packers stadium, In the background you see a goal post, a Jumbotron ( a really big scoreboard.)  The stadium seats over 80,000 people.  The Packers are my favorite football team.

This is Keith from the Australian rock band Atlas Genius.  He played in a building right across the street from Wrigley field. The Chicago Cubs were playing the LA Dodgers.

This is a picture of the Hudson River, which flows from upstate New York past New York City and into the Atlantic Ocean.

I had a great time visiting family and friends all over the country, and traveling from sea to shining sea...

What did you do this summer?
Did you go on an awesome vacation?

    1. Dear Uncle Josh,

Seeing you, family and friends was the highlight of my summer vacation. You asked how many miles I traveled on my phenomenal vacation. I traveled a grand total of 5,934.7 miles! Here's a challenge: How many miles is Illinois to California. Thank you for the out-of-this-world sports cards. They look great in my binder!

      Love,

      Peter

  2. Dear Peter,

What a fantastic summer you had! Your writing continues to be excellent, and I especially loved your conclusion sentence where you used the term sea to shining sea. Well done, Peter!

The photos really complemented your fabulous writing too. I was surprised to see the size of the Hudson River. I knew it was big, but your photo really helped me visualize it.

I love how your Uncle Josh challenged you with a geography question. I will follow his lead: This summer I flew from Los Angeles to Salt Lake City, Utah, to Fargo, North Dakota, and back. Approximately many miles did I fly in all? Good luck!

  6. Dear Peter,

What a grand trip you took around the country! While you were at Wrigley field, Citi field, and Yankee Stadium were there any games going on? The stadiums I have been to are Citi field, Yankee Stadium, Dodger Stadium, Petco Park, Fenway Park, Bush Stadium, Kaufman Stadium, Angel Stadium, AT&T Park, Oakland Coliseum and last, but not least Coors Field. What Stadiums have you been to?

There is a very easy height difference to see visually in the first perfect photo. It goes middle, left and right. Lambeua is a very unusual word could you give me a pronunciation key for it?

Were you at a game while you were at any of the stadiums?

    Your classmate,

    Bryce

P.S. I used the word classmate from Chloe.

    1. Dear Bryce,

When I was at Wriglely, I saw a Cubs vs. Dodger game. It was an epic showdown and soon, I had to leave:( In Chicago, I went to a hotel named Inter Continental. There were very nice rooms and the hotel even had an indoor Starbucks. They had a very nice pool and exercise room. When I was In Wisconsin, I mentioned I went to Lambeau ( Lamb-bo) field. I took a tour of the stadium and it was awesome.

Have you ever been to A Chicago Cubs game?

    2. Dear Peter,

Thank you for the informational pronunciation key. Wow, that Cubs vs. Dodgers game sounds great! I have been to a big showdown where the Boston Red Sox played against the New York Yankees. It was at Yankee Stadium and Curtis Granderson, also known as Grandy man, hit a GRAND SLAM! That is a bomb that rarely ever happens. The bases have to be loaded when it happens.

I have been to a rival of the Cubs game. It was the St. Louis Cardinals game. It was grand! Were you any where near the historical bright green ivy?

I have been to many nice hotels, but in Ka'anapali, Maui there is a delightful hotel. It has an outside Starbucks, delicious breakfast cafe, a perfect pool, and two slides, one for little kids and one for older kids. It also has a little Pirate Pool for all ages and a bar that has sports going on and yummy milkshakes.

A tour of a great stadium like Lambeau sounds nice. What were some landmarks of Lambeua? Please comment back as soon as you can.

    3. Dear Bryc♠,

Lambeau field is very fabulous. If you want your mind blown, take the tour of Lambeau field. It is were some of the best football plays ever played. Like, Bart Starr, Reggie White, Brett Farve, Donald Driver, and currently the greatest quarterback in the NFL Aaron Rodgers! They are all incredibly awesome players. In my opinion the Green Bay Packers are the best NFL team in history of football.

Who is you favorite football team in the NFL?

      Go Pack Go!

    4. Dear Peter,

That is good to know that Lambeau is a great stadium. A can't assure that Rodgers is the best quarterback because I am a die hard Patriots fan, so I think that the best quarterback is Tom Brady. Just don't give me a run for my money because I like Brady. Thank you for keeping this conversation going.

My favorite football team is the Patriots.

      Sincerely,

      Bryc♣
